Restaurants and hospitality
The phone rings exactly when the kitchen is slammed. That is the bit this fixes. We do not have a restaurant live yet: what follows is what the system does, not a case study of ours.
Can it handle table bookings by sitting?
Yes. You set the sittings and the tables available in each, and the bot only offers what is actually free.
Does it answer allergen questions?
It answers with your menu information, the one you load. And with a serious allergy it tells them to confirm with the team on arrival, because kitchens change suppliers.
Can it send a booking reminder?
Yes, a few hours before and with an option to cancel. A table freed at six in the evening gets filled again; one freed at nine does not.
Can it take takeaway orders?
It can take the order and tell the kitchen. Payment is by link or on collection, whichever you prefer.
What about large groups?
You set a limit: above a certain number of covers the bot takes the details and passes them to you, instead of booking on its own. A party of twenty gets a conversation, not a blind booking.
Can it ask for reviews afterwards?
Yes, a message the next day with the link to your Google listing. It is what moves the needle most in hospitality and almost nobody does it systematically.
Can it say whether there is a table free tonight?
Yes, checking what is genuinely left in that sitting. It is the question that comes in most and gets answered worst when the room is full.
Can it send the menu?
Yes, as a PDF or a link, and answer about specific dishes if you have loaded it. Menu changes just get updated.
Can it handle events and company lunches?
It collects the basics — date, number of people, type of menu — and passes them to you. An event gets closed by talking, but the bot saves you the first three questions.
What about last-minute bookings?
It takes them too, up to whatever cut-off you set. You can close automatic booking after a certain time and have it take a message instead.
Is it any use if I mostly do delivery?
It is useful for the WhatsApp side: order status, problems, and direct orders that skip the platform, which are the ones that leave you the whole margin.
Can it let people know their table is ready?
It can be built if you run a waiting list at the door: the customer has a drink nearby and gets the message on their phone instead of standing around. That is custom work, not a box you tick.
