WhatsApp and web bots

The assistant that answers your customers: how it works, how far it goes and where it stops.

Do you use the official WhatsApp API?
Yes, Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. We never connect anyone's WhatsApp through unofficial means: that is how Meta shuts numbers down, and we are not risking a client's phone line.
Do I have to change my WhatsApp number?
Not necessarily. You can use the number you already have, though during sign-up it stops being available in the ordinary WhatsApp Business app. If you would rather not touch it, we register a new one.
Can the bot invent a price or a service?
Prices, opening hours and the catalogue come from your database, not from what the model thinks it remembers. If something is not loaded, the bot says so and takes a note, rather than improvising.
What if a customer asks something the bot doesn't know?
It says so plainly, takes a message and lets you know. It does not invent an answer and it does not leave the customer hanging.
Does it understand WhatsApp voice notes?
Yes. It transcribes them and answers what was said. That is normal in a local business: plenty of people send a voice note instead of typing.
Does it handle several people at once?
Yes, with no queue and no practical limit. Ten people writing at the same time on a Saturday night is not a problem for the bot; for a phone line it is.
Does the customer know they are talking to an AI?
Yes, and the bot says so itself. Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires it, and it is also the sensible thing: people take it well when you tell them up front and badly when they work it out for themselves.
Does it remember what we talked about last week?
The WhatsApp bot does: it recognises the customer by their number and remembers the previous conversation. The web one does not, because there is no way to know who is on the other side without asking for details.
Does it work with my current WhatsApp number?
Yes. We build the bot on WhatsApp Business with your number, and your team can jump into any conversation whenever they want.
Will customers notice it's a bot?
It introduces itself as an assistant and converses naturally. The experience is so smooth most people prefer it to waiting hours for a human reply.
What happens off-script?
If the conversation leaves its territory, it alerts your team and hands over the chat with full context. Nobody gets stranded.
How long until an agent is live?
A specific agent is usually running within one or two weeks, testing included. Larger ecosystems roll out in phases.
Can it slip up with a customer?
It works within strict limits: it only talks about your business, never invents prices, and hands over to your team when the conversation calls for it. You test it before launch.
What do I need on my side?
Nothing technical. Just tell us how you work today: we build, connect and maintain the system.

Didn't find what you were after?

Write to us and we answer ourselves, with no bot in between.
